introversion.pptx |
My project is aimed toward educating both introverts (who experience) and extraverts (who observe). I want my project to be a resource for introverts seeking more knowledge about who they are and how they fit and thrive in society. This function is different for extraverts because for them, I am trying to eradicate bias associated with introversion and create a more tolerant environment for all personality types.
Working on my site has been an enjoyable process. I like the creative freedom that this domain provides; it allows me to completely personalize my project. Upon completion of this course, I plan to share my autoethnography with friends and family, and beyond that, I may continue to use the blog and portfolio functions as means of expression.
I have always enjoyed writing and creating. I tend to spend a lot of time on important essays or writing projects, and I find that I am usually satisfied with the end result. I do wish, however, that I could reach that satisfaction sooner. My writing process is also characteristic of my introverted personality because I must sit, reflect, and really think in order to find the words to effectively communicate my point. Despite its slow process, I enjoy writing. It is a great release, and I sometimes enjoy journaling or just casually unloading my thoughts. While I do think my writing has improved in the last few years, I wish I had some more formal or intensive training. Sometimes I feel as though I am not reaching my potential.
